For his Cruise collection, Nicolas Ghesquière moves away from the ultra-fitted pants that made him famous to explore the volumes dear to Cristóbal, notably with his famous trapeze and puffy “umbrella skirts.” The silhouette is built around bold shapes (inverted triangle shirts, structured sleeves), enhanced by strong prints and materials combining graphic chevrons and archival motifs. And for fans of pants, he also designs striking pieces, such as an Indian-inspired silver-embroidered model that is both delicate and statement-making.
