Evening gown rental by Schiaparelli – Asymetric Balloon, from the Spring/Summer 2024 runway show by Schiaparelli, under the artistic direction of Daniel Roseberry. This full-length gown features a bias cut inspired by 1930s dresses, with asymmetry at the bodice, an elegant drape, and a voluminous balloon sleeve. The lower part of the dress is also cut on the bias. The sleeve is adorned with a stunning gold-tone metal fish brooch. After captivating the world with spectacular red carpet appearances, Daniel Roseberry is working to shape the house’s ready-to-wear identity. This piece exemplifies that vision, with its flawless drape that is both flattering and comfortable, while also incorporating a slightly surreal detail—a fish that seems to leap, evoking Elsa Schiaparelli’s signature whimsy and “folie.”
